Losing Baby Fat - Why Is It Hard To Do and How You Can Succeed

One of the many challenges women face after giving birth is the struggle to lose their baby fat. After giving their body over to their baby for 9 months (which is worth every minute, of course) it's no wonder a woman would want to drop some pounds and get back into shape. The problem is that this can be very hard to do. In fact, it can be harder than at any other period of your life. Why? Here are some of the reasons:

1. Losing baby fat is hard because you're not physically fit after 9 months of pregnancy. The third trimester in particular, when you're already showing, is a time when it's not easy to maintain any sort of physical activity routine. Naturally, the muscles weaken, and when you've given birth you need to gradually rebuild your physical fitness level.

2. You're used to eating for 2 - While you were pregnant, you naturally ate more than you normally do. This was a good thing since you had to feed your baby. The downside is that now that you've delivered, your body and mind are still used to be eating for 2. You need to break this habit in order to begin losing the baby fat.

3. You're massively busy - Now that you have a new child, you're naturally terribly busy. This isn't an easy life stage to fit in physical workouts into your schedule. That's why you need special short workouts in order to lose your baby fat. Otherwise, you'll simply not be able to stick to any program.

However, the simple fact that this is hard shouldn't deter you from taking the necessary steps to regain your pre-pregnancy body. You owe it to yourself.
